Germany Drank This Much World Cup Beer
Germany is known for their ability to drink, and just like everyone else in the world they stepped it up a notch during the World Cup. According to our friends over at Extra Mustard, the country has just released consumption numbers for the month of June and they saw a 14% rise in beer sales compared to the month of May. The total amount of beer sold in one month in Germany was an astonishing 213 million gallons-that’s an average of about 20 pints of beer per person, assuming every single person in the country drinks beer.
