Stuff The Intern Forgot: NYPD Busts More Times Square Characters [Links]

NYPD Busts More Times Square Characters

Anything can happen here in New York City, and this was proven over the weekend in Times Square when a man dressed as Spider-Man decided it would be beneficial to punch an NYPD officer in the face. According to our friends over at Newser, the 26-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested on charges including drug possession and assaulting an officer, and he was soon joined by Captain America, the Naked Black Cowboy, Toy Story’s Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl, and another Spider-Man.
Times Square is flooded with these aggressive characters who pose for pictures with tourists and then demand at least $5 for a tip. A law enforcement source told the New York Post, “They’re like little terrorists preying on all the tourists.” For the full story on these disguised panhandlers, CLICK HERE.
