Red Band "Hot Tub Time Machine 2" Takes You Into The Future [VIDEO]

“Four years ago,” says the voiceover, “these best friends discovered a Hot Tub Time Machine”–and it doesn’t say “four best friends” because John Cusack is sitting out Hot Tub Time Machine 2. This new trailer still has Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Clark Duke. It’s also nice to see Chevy Chase returning as the mysterious repairman who guided the guys through their time traveling to the ’80s in the first movie, too.
This time, though, it looks like the three best friends (just three) are heading into the future to see who assassinated Corddry’s character, who cashed in at the end of the last movie by using his knowledge of future events to invent the internet. Never mind that he only traveled back to when the internet was already happening. It’s a comedy.
Which reminds us that we have Adam Scott in the cast, too, in what we’re assuming is the most Cusack-like role in the movie. In fact, he’s playing Cusack’s kid. Anyway, check out the new trailer (which is really red-banded for language) and decide if this one’s getting your Christmastime cash…
