University Of Virginia Now Offers A ‘Game Of Thrones’ Class

The University of Virginia will now offer a discussion-based class on HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones.’ According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, the class will be taught by associate professor of English Lisa Woolfork, who says “One of the goals behind this class was to teach students how the skills that we use to study literature are very useful skills for reading literature and TV in conjunction.” This new college course is just another milestone for the show, as it recently surpassed ‘The Sopranos’ for most viewers in HBO history.
