Don’t Ask Shabazz Napier About Unfollowing LeBron James On Twitter

Shabazz Napier

Twitter drama isn’t just for pop stars and tweeners. When the 2014 NBA Draft was approaching, there was a series of tweets from LeBron James basically saying that he wanted Shabazz Napier to become a member of the Miami Heat. In fact, James said that Napier his “favorite player in the draft.” Napier and James’ Twitter accounts began following each other–but after James decided to leave Miami to go back to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Napier’s account unfollowed James and deleted any tweets directed towards James.

That all seemed like an angry ex wanting revenge by unfollowing. Napier came out on Tuesday claiming he knows nothing about the unfollowing and saying that he doesn’t know how to work Twitter. That seems odd for a college kid not to know how to use Twitter. Napier also says that he isn’t on his own Twitter account.

It could be a double cross by James or simply him seeing the potential Napier has and praising him in social media. One way or another, Napier needs to figure out the whole Twitter thing. Especially what following and unfollowing means.
