Don’t Shred On Me! Join The Open-Carry Guitar Rally
The first ever Open-Carry Guitar Rally will be held this year on July 4th in Dallas. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, guitar owners will gather together in public to do the most patriotic act of all: rock out. The rally is being organized by Barry Kooda, a Vietnam veteran and musician. Kooda told The Huffington Post, “The idea of desensitizing people to the sight of someone walking in to a fast food restaurant with an automatic rifle is not good.” Kooda says that if people have the right to carry assault weapons in public, he has the right to lug around his prized 1955 Gibson Les Paul Special-and I completely agree. Rock n roll, Mr. Kooda.
