Walter White Jr. Returns To Wish Dad A Happy Father’s Day [VIDEO]

Television is full of memorable fathers–but one show’s patriarch has gone above and beyond the call of duty, even if he had to scrape the bottom of the barrel in order to do it. Now revisit those touching moments as Walter “Flynn” White Jr. (played by Breaking Bad original R.J. Mitte ) pays tribute to bad dad Walter White.

It’s part of a long running series by the folks at Screen Junkies and Made Man, as they honor the nation’s fathers for their tireless service to raise you right and make sure you had the things you needed, even if that included running over drug dealers with a Pontiac Aztec. Mitte pays a very touching tribute to the late drug manufacturer (we hope, if they don’t cave in and decide to bring the guy back for the Better Call Saul spinoff) by acknowledging all the horrible things he did for his family during the five seasons the show was on the air. Mitte does a way better job of recapping those things with a straight face than we ever could so we’ll just let him do the talking for us…

This may have been slightly tongue-in-cheek but it’s clear to anyone who knows about the show or sees how they interact with each other that the cast has great affection for one another as if they were a real family. Bryan Cranston alone is easily one of the nicest guys in show business. Just ask anyone who has ever worked with him. If anything, it’s a nice reminder for all of us to call our own fathers and wish them a Happy Fathers’ Day unless they are actually a scumbag drug dealer who won’t admit that they enjoy being the bad guy.
