CNN reporter/anchor Jake Tapper has spent this Memorial Day dedicating his Twitter account to the Armed Forces. That’s included plenty of re-Tweets from actual veterans and their loved ones. It’s made for a pretty amazing tribute, and is certainly the kind of thing that deserves a big salute. It also deserves a long look as we honor the military veterans who truly gave all to their country.
Tapper has always been an avid supporter of veterans, and has interviewed plenty of war heroes. Check out his interview with the guy who inspired the novel (and movie) Lone Survivor below. And, of course, everyone here at COED wishes everyone a happy and meaningful Memorial Day…
