The Colts considered signing “The Mountain” from Game Of Thrones
The actor who plays “The Mountain” on HBO’s Game of Thrones was almost signed by the Indianapolis Colts last year. His name is Thor Bjornsson and he is 6’9″ and weighs in at 419 lbs. According to our friends over at Extra Mustard, the Icelander is also a professional weightlifter and was the subject of a tweet by Colts owner Jim Irsay last year. This isn’t the first time the Colts have looks in odd places for new talent, as last year they also brought on Daniel Adongo, a professional Kenyan rugby player.
