“Nothing in our solar system can help us,” says a character in the brand new trailer for Interstellar–which is all set as one of our most anticipated movies of 2014. The movie has Matthew McConaughey continuing his big year in a splashy role, with Christopher Nolan (y’know, the guy behind The Dark Knight Rises and Inception) as writer and director.
The trailer leads us to believe that the main plot is that mankind has ran out of food and will search beyond our own solar system for an answer. It sounds like an intriguing plot–and with Nolan at the helm, it’s sure to be a trippy and beautiful movie just like all of his other ones. Check out the trailer below.
