Colorado State QB Garrett Grayson Hurts Clavicle Moving Couch

They risk injuries every day, but sometimes it takes a freak accident to knock out an athlete. Colorado State quarterback Garrett Grayson had that happen to him recently when he injured his left clavicle moving a couch–but is expected to be back for summer workouts. Grayson led the Rams to an 8-6 record and a New Mexico Bowl win this past season.
There’s really nothing that Grayson could have done in this situation, though, unless he didn’t have all the help that he needed around the house. Thankfully, the injury happened to his left shoulder and not his throwing shoulder or it could have been much worse for his career moving forward. He probably won’t be moving any couches anytime soon either.
It’s just unfortunate that one of the normal parts of life in moving things caused an injury like that. It happens to people every single day and luckily it wasn’t a more serious injury. Grayson will be asking others to help him with things for a while now after this incident.
