Base Jumping From World's Tallest Building-And More Morning Links

 
Veteran base jumpers Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet jumped from the 2,717-foot-high Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which is the tallest building in the world. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, Fugen and Reffet got an extra 500+ feet by jumping off a temporary platform placed on top of the building’s pinnacle. The guys set a Guinness World Record but Fugen said that breaking the record was not their main goal…they’ve been dreaming about jumping from this building for three years now.
