Looking Back At Mike Woodson's Time As Knick Head Coach In 24 GIFS

Mike Woodson has been fired as head coach of the NY Knicks, along with the rest of the Knicks coaching staff. I can’t say that I’m surprised that this is Phil Jackson’s first move in the NY Knicks front office, but I can’t say that I’m as ecstatic as I really should be either. You can’t look me in the face and tell me that Steve Kerr (the man who’s a front-runner for the position) is a better option than Mike Woodson–the man has never coached a day in his life.

Don’t give me that “veteran PGs are head coaches in their own right” bullsh*t. Unlike Jason Kidd and Mark Jackson, Steve Kerr isn’t a Hall of Famer. He’s got both experience and rings, but that’s not really going to cut it in a must-win place like New York City.

Am I just a little upset that I won’t get to see Mike Woodson’s finely-groomed beard next winter? Absolutely. So let’s look back at the shiny bald man who caused us so many feelings this past season.
