Magcon (Might Have) Broke Up, Fans (Might) Start Cutting Themselves

If you haven’t heard of Magcon…well, join the club. However, the tween boy gang broke up, and plenty of other tweens went nuts over the news. That included a trending hashtag on Twitter called #cutformagcon. Which is particularly baffling for people who don’t know that Magcon is a band of boys who aren’t even a boy band. They’re more like internet stars reaching out to other sensitive kids about issues like bullying and…um, cutting.

At this point, the whole Magcon break-up might turn out to be a hoax. This also wouldn’t be the first time that “#cutfor[celebrity]” became a trend. And, of course, there have been times when “#cutfor[celebrity]” was a hoax in itself.

It was still pretty damn weird on Twitter recently. Here are two pretty creepy pics just to remind you that tweens today are really stupid, or maybe everyone’s just really gullible. The important lesson here, though, is that you’re probably better off never knowing about Magcon, or caring about anything that happens to those guys…
