People who don’t watch HBO’s Game of Thrones still know it can be one sadistic hour of television. That might be why they don’t watch it. Someone has finally compiled every violent from the HBO drama and crammed into a single video for your sick and twisted enjoyment.
Don’t let the video timestamp fool you. It may only be just under three minutes long but it racks up quite a large body count that would make a wartime military general question the existence of a just and fair god. The video also counts the number of bodies that the show managed to rack up in just three seasons worth of episodes and the total topped 5,000! George R.R. Martin is either a genius of unflinching fantasy storytelling or the world’s sickest bastard.

The truly great thing about this video isn’t just that it cuts out all the talking and dramatics and goes straight to the parts of the show that most people actually care about. It also does an excellent job of condensing the first three seasons of the series. If you’re fairly familiar with the central characters, it actually does a good job of helping you keep track of all of the show’s literary lineages and lifelines.
