Amanda Righetti: Hot Pics For Her 31st Birthday [PHOTOS]

Yesterday was Cobie Smulders’ birthday–and now we’re celebrate our other favorite big-screen S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Sadly, Amanda Righetti isn’t spending her 31st birthday (that being April 4, 2014) at the multiplexes. We very regretfully report that she isn’t getting to reprise her Captain America: The First Avenger role as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in The Winter Soldier sequel. That’s disappointing. It’s like S.H.I.E.L.D. has some kind of cap on sexy agents. Does Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow count as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent? We’re not sure.
Anyway, Amanda Righetti is still getting plenty of exposure. A generation of guys fell in love with her as a proudly built babe on The O.C. back in 2004. Amanda had a pretty short story arc as an irresponsible trust-fund kid, but she really stood out with her prominent curves and incredible presence. She kept working steadily after that, and we weren’t surprised when Amanda showed up in the 2009 Friday the 13th remake as the one gal who had what it takes to stand up to Jason Voorhees.
By then, Amanda was also a regular on The Mentalist. That was back before the CBS crime drama screwed up its epic Red John plot. Amanda lured in plenty of viewers as tough Special Agent  Grace Van Pelt–who left the show last month to be Private Eye Grace Van Pelt, and we’d like to see a spin-off series about that gal. We’d also like to see more of Amanda on the big screen, too, but we’ll have to settle for Cobie and Scarlett in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. These pics should still make for an exciting birthday celebration of Amanda Righetti…
