SMU Mustangs Featuring Sad Keanu Snubbed In Selection Sunday

The Southern Methodist University Mustangs Men’s Basketball team was snubbed by the 2014 NCAA March Madness selection committee. There’s really no other way to put it. Even worse, they invited the media and fans to celebrate with them take photos of them looking absolutely miserable. Apparently they were joined by Keanu Reeves, who’s no stranger to feeling down in the dumps.

SMU–which was ranked either #23 or #26 depending on which poll you looked at–did have one of the weakest non-league schedules in the country, but it’s always strange to see a ranked team not be included in March Madness. For these kids’ sake, we hope that Sad Keaunu can impart some wisdom to the team.
