These People Want Your Money: A Life-Size Air Hockey Rink
The Airblade Extreme Pro Rink basically combines a full-size hockey rink surface with a rollerblading halfpipe. According to our friends over at Extra Mustard, Airblade has created smaller prototype rinks to prove that air hockey can be applied on a larger scale, but their final goal is to raise $700,000 through a Kickstarter campaign to build a life-size air hockey rink. Mark Sendo, the CEO of Airblade, has already signed a contract with Ford Field to host an AirBlade tournament in May, so hopefully the Kickstarter campaign works out for him.
