Anthony Joshua faced off against Wladimir Klitschko in a huge heavyweight fight at Wembley Stadium today. The undefeated Joshua was putting his IBF belt on the line and a vacant WBA championship was also up for grabs.
There was a ton of hype surrounding the championship fight, and somehow it managed to surpass even my wildest dreams. The bout was action packed and both men scored knockdowns during the fight.
The first knockdown took place in the fifth round, as Joshua dropped Klitschko with a barrage of big shots.

Klitschko would bounce right back, though, sending Joshua to the canvas in the very next round.

The fight was up in the air as they headed into the 11th round, but that is when Joshua dug deep and ended the bout in thrilling fashion.

What a goddamn fight. It doesn’t get much better than that, folks. Joshua is now 19-0 with 19 KOs, and the 27-year-old looks to be both the present and the future of the heavyweight division.
On the other hand, you have to wonder if this is the end of Klitschko (64-5, 53 KOs) being an elite boxer. The two-time heavyweight champion is 41-years-old, and he has now lost his last two bouts.
If you missed the fight, HBO will air a replay later tonight.
