"Carver" Trailer Looks Good For A 14-Year-Old's Horror Movie [VIDEO]

Carver isn’t the first movie to be written and directed by a teenage–but it’s notable as a horror movie that’s written and directed by 14-year-old Emily DiPrimio. She seems to have done a lot with her $25,000 budget, too. The young horror geek seems to have made a very serviceable movie about a Halloween slasher causing mayhem in a small town.
You can tell that the money for costuming was spent at Party City, and the plot sure seems similar to the minor 1980 slasher film Prom Night. There are some good camera moves here, though. We’re just guessing at that $25,000 budget, too. Emily might have gotten together as much as $30,000 to get this together.
Anyway, take a look for yourself and decide if Carver would be worth the price of a movie ticket. We’re thinking that we’ve laid down money for movies from grown men who couldn’t put together a decent trailer from their finished productions. At least this one comes with a good excuse for being more fun than entertaining…
