ABOUT Stephanie

University of Missouri- Columbia (Mizzou), Junior

Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?

Before I switched my major, I originally chose Mizzou for its journalism program, due to it being one of the top in the country. My cousins had told me all about Mizzou and how there are so many opportunities to get involved and how Greek life is awesome. Before I rushed, my cousins told me that even if I didn’t get into a house, Mizzou is great because although we are more of a Greek life-heavy school, whether you’re in a fraternity/sorority or not, you can still go out and have just as much fun because the bar scene in downtown Columbia is huge. I feel that Mizzou differs in that sense because at a lot of other schools, if you’re not in a fraternity or sorority and you’re under the age of 21, you don’t seem to “fit in” as much fun as the people who are involved in Greek life, especially for guys.

What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)

I’m involved in Alpha Phi at Mizzou.

If you had to choose one social media to use for the year, what would it be and why?

I’d choose Instagram. Like any other basic girl, I enjoy posting pictures and creeping on my friends and celebrities and what they’re doing in their everyday lives.

What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?

My major is communications with a minor in business. Not entirely sure what I want to do with it, but I’m hoping something in Public Relations.

Who’s the most famous graduate from your school?

Definitely Brad Pitt.

Do you have a favorite sports team?

I’m from Chicago, so, the Blackhawks 110%.

Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?

Most definitely Zac Efron.

What is your go to pre-game song?

Anything that’s rap. I really like the throwbacks, like Fetty Wap songs.
