ABOUT Morgan

Arizona State University, Senior

Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?

My sister and my cousin came to ASU so I was very familiar with the campus and how crazy it get’s here. Everyone knows ASU as the party school, and it does get wild for sure, but people underestimate how amazing of academic programs we have.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?

Sun Devil Stadium! I was raised watching college football so it’s only natural that the stadium is my favorite place to be.

What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)

I am the Vice President of Programming of Sigma Kappa’s Theta Omicron chapter. I wasn’t too sure about Greek life when I first came to college but it has taught me so much and has given me my best friends. I’m really grateful for my sorority.

If you had to choose one social media to use for the year, what would it be and why?

Definitely Instagram because I’m a very visual person. It’s strange how other peoples posts influence me. I’ll follow a fitness girl, see her post and think “Wow she looks great, I need to go to the gym.” Or I’ll see a travel blogger post from the beach their staying at and then start looking into tropical vacations. A picture is worth a thousand words and there is so much you can learn and think about through Instagram.

What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?

I am currently a senior majoring in broadcast journalism. I hope to do entertainment news one day.

Who’s the most famous graduate from your school?

Jimmy Kimmel attended ASU but didn’t graduate from here, so if that doesn’t count then Kate Spade is a famous graduate.

What do you know now that you wish you knew as a freshman?

I wish I knew not to take myself so seriously and to take advantage of every opportunity given.

Do you have a favorite sports team?

Philadelphia Eagles!!

What’s your top song on Spotify right now?

I’m not a big rap fan, but Humble by Kendrick Lamar really gets me going.

PAC 12
