ABOUT Molly
Mississippi State University, Senior
Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
So, I chose Mississippi State for a handful of reasons. Firstly, I chose it because it’s such an incredibly close campus, meaning our student body really is one big family. I met someone new everyday not just because we had over 20,000 students, but because all 20,000 genuinely want to meet everyone around them regardless of race, religion, or walk of life. Secondly, I chose Mississippi State because of the electric atmosphere that permeates every corner of Starkville, especially on game day. I’ve loved the feeling of it since Junior year of high school and I knew I wasn’t going anywhere else. And thirdly, MSU became my home because it felt like just that: home. I didn’t feel out of place or homesick from my childhood house. I was happy. Simple as that.
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
On campus I was involved with so many things I almost ran myself ragged.
I was Vice President of the MSU Relay for Life, a member of the Transfer Student Association, PRAM, PRSSA, 6 honor societies, and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. I was also Miss Maroon and White 2016 and Miss Mississippi State 2017.
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
My major is Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations
Do you have a favorite sports team?
https://coed.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=1097329&type=image&TB_iframe=1Obviously my favorite sports team are those at MSU, but specifically I love women’s basketball the most.
Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?
It’s a tie between Ellen DeGeneres and Brendon Uris. I think Ellen is incredibly funny and kind and would be very fun to have dinner with. However, I’d want to invite Brendon for the soul purpose of singing with him. Haha
What is your go to pre-game song?
Pregame Song is Who Let the Dawgs Out when the football team does the Dog Pound Rock, but honestly my favorite song played is Don’t Stop Believing, which is always played in the 4th Quarter
