it has become like a second family to me. Because the campus is rather small, it has been so easy for us to all become so close. Our campus is beautiful and was recognized as one of the most beautiful campuses in the country recently.

Health Science.. and I plan to further my education with a Master’s degree in Occupation Therapy. I fell in love with the career because I love working with people of all ages and being able to make everyday tasks they may find difficult that much easier. Improving others’ quality of life is really the goal. I knew this was my calling after spending so much time with my nephew who was diagnosed with autism.
My hometown is awesome because…
it’s a small town that just feels like home to me. My maternal and paternal grandparents both grew up in the area, as did my parents. No matter where life takes me this will always be home to me.
At school, you can find me…
in a few of the health care clubs on campus but I find the most involvement I have with my peers is definitely through the college nights at my bar and our everyday interactions. I also participate in a lot of community service every year.
My ideal first date would be…
fun and not necessarily be set to certain standards. My ideal date would be someone whose funny, polite, and outgoing, the location of the date isn’t as important. I’m not too picky or hard to please.

grilled cheese! Our college has a grilled cheese study night during finals week where they deliver grilled cheese to your dorm or around campus for just $1.

I’m going to be Miss COED 2017 because…
I think I will represent Miss COED 2017 well. I am outgoing and have a great sense of humor. I am smart and creative. I feel as though through my modeling, education, and work- I can show girls the endless opportunities available if you just put your mind to it. I have come a long way and have learned to accept my flaws and come back with confidence.
