Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
Well, I chose WSU because as soon as I visited the campus I felt right at home. WSU is perfect because I’m only 3 hours away from my hometown which I like because I’m very close with my family! The vibe at WSU is incredible and everyone is so positive and motivated and it definitely feels like home. I know I could ask any of my fellow cougs for help with literally anything and anyone would be willing to help because cougs help cougs!
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
I am in Alpha Chi Omega here at WSU and I volunteer often within schools and nursing homes through CCE here at WSU
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
double majoring in sociology and criminal justice with a minor in human development. I want to work for Child Protective Services one day.
What do you know now that you wish you knew as a freshman?
This is a time to reinvent yourself and become whoever you want to be and find yourself. If you want to be a totally different woman than you were in high school, do it! Don’t be afraid to be involved, talk to the stranger next to you in class, don’t be afraid to ask for help, and be true to yourself always. When it comes to partying and boys, don’t ever do anything you’re not comfortable with doing and don’t let people peer pressure you into drinking, sex, partying etc! Don’t be afraid to go out and have fun and get a full college experience, but don’t put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Always have trustworthy girlfriend/boyfriends with you if you decide to go out and always be safe and take it easy! Freshman year can be overwhelming because college is awesome! So remember to keep going to your classes, stay on top of your school work
Do you have a favorite sports team?
Fav sports team is the Seattle Mariners! Baseball is THE best sport ever invented! Go M’s!
Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?
Nicki Minaj! She’s the definition of a bad bitch
