I love my college because…
I ended up not enjoying University of Cincinnati as much as I thought I would. I went to UC for my freshman year of college but ended up transferring to Kent because I was so homesick at Cincinnati. It was a beautiful place where I had fun, but I knew I’d be much happier at Kent. I picked Kent because I knew how good the Journalism program is, and everyone at Kent State says how much they love it and how it’s the best decision they have ever made and they are right! I definitely know I made the right choice, and I am loving it and proud to say I transferred to Kent State.
I major in…
Broadcast Journalism, currently. I did Journalism so I was able to do Meteorology for grad school because that is my true passion. Weather has been my niche since I was little, and I get so excited to see how the weather changes throughout the day. However, Broadcast Journalism is not exactly what I want to be doing if I cannot afford grad school, so I may be making the decision to switch to Fashion Merchandising. Kent State is number 3 in the world for their fashion school, and I think I would really enjoy Fashion Merchandising. Being a model, I have a grip of the fashion world already and I believe Fashion Merchandising would help my modeling and vise versa. My one goal is to be able to travel the world for Fashion Merchandising.
My hometown is awesome because…
of how close it is to Lake Erie! Avon Lake is right on Lake Erie, so I enjoy being able to go to the beach whenever!
At school, you can find me…
going through recruitment for a sorority and bid day is this Sunday. 🙂 I am also a dancer (ballet is my favorite), I play the violin, and I also model.

If I could change one thing about the world, it would be…
the fact that wars have to take place in order for us to accomplish things. If we stopped trying to fight for power, everyone could be extremely happy and relaxed.
If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, I would say…
do not overthink what people have said about you. People are going to try and bring you down throughout all of high school, but as long as you stay true to yourself and you know who you are, those things that people make up do not define you.
I’m going to be Miss COED 2017 because…
I believe Kent State is the best school, not only for the best years of your life, but for success. I also want to prove to girls that it doesn’t matter what people say about you to try and bring you down, if you stay true to yourself and you know yourself, do not let it affect you!
