ABOUT Jordyn

Ohio University, Junior

Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?

I chose OU because I instantly fell in love it’s small college town feeling. There’s nothing like the bricks and pretty buildings nestled in between huge trees. It’s called Havard on the Hocking for a reason, it’s gorgeous views are incredible. Aside from the scenery, the people are what make Athens so special. You could ask anyone on campus and they would feel the same that we’re all one big family who can work hard AND play hard!

What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)

I’m an active member in my sorority Chi Omega and a campus brand representative for The Social Life, a Greek apparel company and BioClarity, a skin care line! On top of this I’m also a stylist for a student-run online fashion publication called Thread Magazine. I get to work closely with our Creative Director to come up with the vision for photoshoots and help pick out the clothing for our models as well as assist on location.

Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development, I’ve known I wanted to go into fashion industry ever since I could remember.

Matt Lauer from The Today Show tops the list because he’s always taking pictures with OU students and alum when they visit the show.
