ABOUT Jordan
University of Oregon,
Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
There are countless reasons why I love the University of Oregon. My mom went to U of O so I already felt like I had a connection to the school before I even came here for the first time. The campus itself is gorgeous, but isn’t overwhelmingly big, which helps you feel part of a tight knit community. You can walk down the Main Street and are almost guaranteed to always see multiple people that you know. Plus the school spirit is amazing!!! We all love our Ducks so much and its so fun for everyone to come together and rally around all of our sports teams all year long. I also love how many programs and opportunities are provided for students to get involved and get to know each other from the countless programs and classes offered at our amazing Student Recreation Center, to our clubs, to our volunteer programs, and even with our Greek Life system. All of these things have contributed to me calling and truly feeling like this place is my home and it will be heart breaking for me to have to leave
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
I am extremely involved in our campus recreation center! I started working there as a Personal Trainer during my Freshman year. Through working for the Student Recreation Center I have participated in many campus events to help promote the health and wellness of the student population through events such as incoming freshman orientations, events that happen each term called All Sizes Fit and Stress Less week, and I even created and taught my own boxing class for a while!
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
Double majoring in Human Physiology & Psychology
Do you have a favorite sports team?
Oregon Ducks (duh) and the San Francisco 49ers
Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?
I would love to have dinner with the bad ass Boss Lady Rihanna. She just seems so real and sassy. She is so fierce, independent, empowering, and an amazing business woman all while staying true to herself and her roots.
What is your go to pre-game song?
My favorite pre game song changes pretty often depending on what new music comes out, but right now I’d have to say that it’s Red Cup (feat. T-Pain, Kid Ink & B.o.B) by E-40
