ABOUT Greta

Colorado State University, Freshman

I love my college because…

It’s located in the most gorgeous state and offers a supportive, healthy environment. The campus is also gorgeous and it’s close to home.

I really hate…

chewing with your mouth open…

I major in…

Biomedical Engineering with Chemical and Biological Engineering as a dual degree. After receiving my Bachelor’s, I hope to go into research with a company to help develop ways to regenerate nerves.

My hometown of Conifer is awesome because…

it’s a small mountain community. I love the fresh mountain air and how everything is secluded. I grew up dependent on the environment around me. I also love the atmosphere. Everyone knows one another and it is a great source of community.

At school, you can find me…

involved in SWE (Society of Women’s Engineers), IM volleyball and basketball, and jazz combo.

The coolest class I’ve taken so far is…

Intro to Biomedical Engineering. I love knowing the application of biology with the engineering mathematics. I also love how you can apply your knowledge to help people out.

My ideal first date would be…

going on a hike. This tells you a lot about a person’s character, how they interact with nature and being active. Also this gives you the chance to have conversation and interact with one another.

My favorite late night study snack is…

Goldfish or Oreos and milk!

If I had 24 hours left to live, I would…

spend them with my family. My life has been influenced by them, and I want to make sure that I can spend the rest of my time with them. It’s the least I can do for what they have done for me.

If I could change one thing about the world, it would be…

appreciation. People don’t really appreciate the beauty and complexity of nature. Nature can live without people; people cannot live without nature.

I’m going to be Miss COED 2017 because…

I am not in it for any prize but for the chance to show what an amazing university and state I live in.
