Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
I chose the University of Houston because of the great opportunities here and my Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Since it’s the second most diverse campuses in the nation, I knew I would be given a new perspective and different opportunities than I would anywhere else.
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
I’m a part of the Chi Omega sorority on campus. We’re involved with the Make A Wish foundation so we often collaborate with them for philanthropy. Also, I’m involved with the American Sign Language Society on campus. In this group we’re very involved with the Deaf Community and spreading awareness about Deaf Culture.
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
I’m a History major, I hope to become a museum curator in the future.
Do you have a favorite sports team?
Well, being from Texas, we love our college football! So I have to say the University of Houston Cougars! Go Coogs!
Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?
I would invite the Obamas. They are such an amazing family and they made history by being the first African American First Family. I would love to converse with Barack and Michelle because they are both so intelligent and genuine, and I value both of those qualities so much!
What is your go to pre-game song?
My go to pre game song would have to be Formation by Beyoncé!!
