Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
CSUSB has a great music department with faculty that really cares about it’s students. The Department Chair, Dr. Knop, is especially helpful, giving realistic advice with no sugar coating, but somehow makes you not feel too bad about yourself when you mess up (like I do often haha).
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
I participate a lot in the music department. I perform in the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Flute Choir, and Orchestra. I also run my own group called The Indigo-Go’s (@indigogosensemble on IG) that cosplays while playing video game music. I also attend events on campus that deal with sexual and mental health, as these interest me.
If you had to choose one social media to use for the year, what would it be and why?
Instagram for sure. Its the social media I use the most and have built up the biggest following on, and I like sharing pictures.
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
I am a Music Major with an emphasis in performance on flute.
Who’s the most famous graduate from your school?
Steve Martin
Do you have a favorite sports team?
The Lake Elsinore Storm (minor league baseball). Cause you root for your home team.
