Bowling Green State University, Sophomore
I love my college because…
I fell in love the moment I came here. I remember applying to Bowling Green State University during my senior year of high school, and back then I just applied to have some options. I didn’t know where I wanted to go to college. Then I got in, I visited, and I just knew this was my new home. The campus is beautiful. The professors here are awesome. There are so many ways to get involved on campus. If I could go back and choose a different school, I would never. My school is better than other schools for multiple reasons. It’s the perfect size, campus isn’t too big or too small, it’s clean and safe, and everything I need is here!
I really hate when…
people don’t remember their manners! Someone holds the door for you? Say ‘thank you.’ That’s not too hard, is it?
I major in…
Fashion and Apparel Merchandising. I would love to work for a big company in New York City or Chicago such as Michael Kors or Ralph Lauren and be a merchandiser for their company! Dream job.
My hometown is awesome because…
coming from a town that has a lot of farms and fields of grass, it is very peaceful. But if you don’t like that, there’s a big city nearby known as Ann Arbor, Michigan. 🙂 Best of both worlds!
At school, you can find me…
as a member of the sorority Alpha Xi Delta here at school. 🙂
The coolest class I’ve taken so far is…
Sociology. I took Psychology and Sociology classes in high school too. It’s so interesting to learn about the behavior of people and an explanation for it as well.
My favorite late night study snack is…
Lunchables! They’re quick and easy. Plus, who doesn’t love a Lunchable?
If I had 24 hours left to live, I would…
ah, it makes me sad to think about! There’s so much I still need to do in life. I would definitely spend the whole day with my closest friends and my family. Also, I would write letters to them, write my will, and eat all of the yummy food I possibly can!
If I could change one thing about the world, it would be…
to take all of the hate and sadness out of people’s hearts. It hurts me inside knowing that there are people everywhere who are not happy with their lives or there are too many people who have so much bitterness inside of them. Everyone deserves to be happy.
If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, I would say…
‘there’s life after high school.’ I can’t even count how many times I let the littlest things ruin my day. If I would have known back then that everything is going to be okay, it would have saved me a lot of heartache.
I’m going to be Miss COED 2017 because…
I want everyone to know how great my school is and how it has impacted my life. I think that I represent my school very well because I am always positive, finding the good in situations, giving people advice that will actually help them, and encouraging everyone around me. Also, coming from a mid-sized school, not a lot of people have heard of BGSU. It’s a great school, and I am very excited to see what my future holds.
