UFC 254 Medical Suspensions: Three Fighters Face 3-Month Layoffs

UFC 254 took place over the weekend at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi with lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov successfully defeating Justin Gaethje to unify the 155-pound titles before announcing his retirement from the sport.

While Nurmagomedov does not plan on returning to action, other fighters on the card could have some big match-ups in their next bouts but how long will they have to wait to get back in the cage?

Following the event, the UFC announced the medical suspensions from the pay-per-view.

Nurmagomedov and Gaethje were each just giving seven days for mandatory rest, while three other fighters could be out of action for the next three months.

Among those facing the lengthy layoffs are co-main event participant Jared Cannonier, who must have his left wrist cleared before returning.

How long will your favorite fighter be sidelined?
