The 2020 college football season is right around the corner. While the onfield product may look different than we are used to thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the preseason watch lists, rankings and awards are still being pumped out.
The latest preseason honors we’ve got to take a lot at is the AP preseason All-American team.
Leading the way on offense is Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, and Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard. On the defensive of the ball, Penn State‘s Micah Parsons, Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Alabama’s Dylan Moses are among the honorees.
Of course, some of those players will not take the field this fall after conferences decided to postpone fall sports while other players simply chose to opt-out in order to focus on the upcoming NFL Draft.
Did your favorite player receive an honor?
