Gwendoline Christie Predicted the 'Game of Thrones' Ending Two Years Ago

If there is one thing that Game of Thrones fans can agree on (as we all know that is not the case with the finale), it is how much they loved the character of Brienne of Tarth.
In a world full of grey betrayal and blood red backstabbing, Brienne of Tarth remained seemingly the most loyal person in the realm throughout the entirety of the series.
In fact, we even ranked Brienne of Tarth as the second-most fearsome warrior in Westeros — that is just how much we love her.
And not only was Brienne of Tarth a brilliant and brave character but the actress who plays her — Gwendoline Christie — also seems to be something of a gem herself.
In a recently unearthed interview with Extra from two years ago, Christie — who clearly was not told the ending by David Benioff & D.B. Weiss — predicted how Game of Thrones would ultimately conclude by proclaiming that it would be Bran who sits on the Iron Throne.
At the time, the notion of the artist formerly known as Brandon Stark — who was in the midst of his transition to becoming the Three-Eyed Raven — was so ridiculous that even Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the fantastic actor who played Jaime Lannister, scoffed at the idea.

And if you are not yet convinced of Christie’s general awesomeness, we invite you to indulge in this video of her gleefully describing the season four finale fight between her and the Hound:
