Update(11:45 a.m.): The lockdown at Manchester High School has been lifted as no weapon has been found.
Manchester High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia, is on lockdown after a report of a student with a gun, according to the Chesterfield Police Department.
Police are currently on the scene investigating and say no weapon has been found at this time. The school has been placed on lockdown as a precaution.
At this time, no injuries have been reported and no suspects have been identified.
The Chesterfield Police Department addressed the situation with a statement on Twitter:

Chesterfield Police Sgt. Debby Tennissen asked the parents of students at Manchester High School not to go to the school grounds and to wait for their child at the nearby Clover Hill Church.
