Dean Ambrose Teases Return As Jon Moxley & Wrestling Fans Are Hyped

Dean Ambrose competed in his last WWE match by teaming up with The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) for a WWE Network special on April 21st. It was the end of an eight-year run with the company, but Ambrose is already hyping up the next phase of his career.
Early Wednesday, May 1, Ambrose teased the return of Jon Moxley.
Moxley was the name Ambrose, whose real name is Jonathan Good, used while he was an independent wrestler from 2004 to 2011.
The end of Good’s WWE tenure came after the WWE announced in January that he would not be renewing his contract. That announcement came two weeks after Ambrose lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship. But with the video teasing the return of Jon Moxley, fans are beginning to wonder whether this was all a work.

One common theory is that Jon Moxley could be heading to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) which features stars like former WWE superstar Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega.
Interestingly enough, the first show for AEW, which is owned by Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan, will be held on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Good is from Las Vegas, and the numbers “2” and “5” can be seen in the teaser video which led some to believe he could be making his return as Jon Moxley at AEW’s “All or Nothing” show.

Of course, the high production value of the video does seem reminiscent of a WWE hype video so it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to see the promotion pull a fast one and have the Dean Ambrose to Jon Moxley switch become part of an upcoming storyline. We will all just have to wait and see while we get our popcorn ready.
