Mikaela Hoover, born July 12, 1984, in Colbert, Washington, is an American actress who is best known for her bit-part roles in television shows such as How I Met Your Mothers & Two Broke Girls and films such as Guardians of the Galaxy and The Belko Experiment.
Hoover attended Loyola Marymount University where she participated in the university’s theatre program in Los Angeles. Hoover graduated with her bachelor’s degree in theater from Loyola Marymount.
She began her acting career by appearing in the web-based soap opera SamHas7Friends in 2006. During her acting career, Hoover has appeared in projects such as How I Met your Mother, Happy Endings, Two & a Half Men, Two Broke Girls, The Guest Book, Lucifer, Guardians of the Galaxy, Super, and The Belko Experiment.
Hoover is also friends with Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn. Despite this, Hoover has never fully broken into the mainstream and remains relegated to eye-candy roles.
Her most recent acting appearance came in a 2017 episode of the FOX series Lucifer.
