Amazon is taking over the world and us humans are totally okay with that. We’re frugal and lazy. We like cheap stuff and having things delivered to our doorsteps, and that’s exactly what the world’s largest e-commerce company does. The list of goods and services Amazon provides continues to grow, and their formal coup of national consumer holidays was welcomed with willing clicks and credit card info. Enter Amazon Prime Day.

Amazon Prime Day Schedule & Details

Prime Day is the new Black Friday. Since 2015, it’s been dragging anyone with an internet connection and a Prime membership out of the dog days of summer and into Amazon’s digital aisles. The event features great deals exclusively for Prime members, and this year runs 36 hours from July 16th at 3 p.m. ET until July 18th at 3 a.m. ET.
Prime Day deals will be identified by a blue badge that reads “Prime Day deal.” New deals are added to the site as often as every five minutes so keep your eyes and scrolling fingers locked in, just as the bionic Jeff Bezos intended.

How To Sign Up For Amazon Prime

If you’re not a Prime member and want to participate in all the Prime Day consumer chaos, sign up here.
Anyone can try Amazon Prime free for 30 days. After the free trial expires, memberships are $12.99 per month or $99 for the full year.
If you’re a student, you get a free six-month trial. Monthly memberships for those with .edu emails is $6.49, while full-year subscriptions are $49.
