Maria Komandnaya will be a mainstay on your television throughout the next few weeks as part of the FOX Sports coverage for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. She previously worked for FOX Sports during the network’s coverage of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and co-hosted the 2018 FIFA World Cup Draw live from State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
Komandnaya is a well-known sports reporter in her home country of Russia serving as the host for Moscow FM and Match TV. She has been a prominent soccer reporter in her country for the past decade.

It’s the time when the World Cup officially begins,” she said in an interview with FIFA.com. “I believe that football is a universal language, capable of bringing people together from all around the world. “And it’s the time when all of us can speak football.
