Oh, Cardi … ya gotta love her. Equal parts attractive, yet equal terrifying, Cardi B has either created a brilliant character … or is actually like this. And by “like this” (other than her out-of-this-world vocabulary and the preposterous sounds she makes when she speaks), I mean not knowing Childish Gambino and Donald Glover are the same person.
In a series of quickly-deleted Tweets, Carib B publicly pondered how utterly incredible it is that Childish Gambino and Donald Glover look so similar. In fact, they look so similar that Cardi B even wondered if they could low-key be the same person.
To Cardi’s credit, I, too, was once unaware that Donald Glover and Childish Gambino were the same person … back in like 2012. What makes this even more surprising is that Donald Glover literally may be the most sought-after talent in entertainment right now, given that he’s succeeded in nearly every avenue that pop culture has to offer: music, TV & movies.
In the last couple of months alone, the second season of the Glover-helmed hit Atlanta came out, he dropped the Earth-shattering music video for This Is America, and starred in a f*cking Star Wars movie as Lando Calrissian. If that isn’t a triple threat, I don’t know what is.
But we’ll give Cardi a pass on this one considering she’s pregnant and has far more important things to worry about.
