Taylor Rooks is one of the rising stars in sports media, working for SportsNet New York and previously serving as a reporter for the Big Ten Network. She was also a football and basketball recruiting reporter for Scout.com before taking her talents to the airwaves. In April 2018, Rooks rocketed to Internet fame thanks to an interview on her podcast “Timeout With Taylor Rooks,” which airs on the SNY YouTube channel.
Rooks was interviewing NBA superstar Dwyane Wade when users all over social media began joking about just how beautiful she was.

But Rooks is here to let everyone know she brings much more to the table than just her looks.
“When I’m trending and people are talking about these other things — it’s great that they feel this way, but listen to the interview,” Rooks said in a previous interview, via the New York Post. “The way I look is not even close to the best part about me.”
Rooks was born May 22, 1992, in St. Louis, Missouri and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the daughter of Illinois all-time leading rusher Thomas Rooks, the niece of St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Lou Brock, and niece of former Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints player Marv Woodson, so she is no stranger to the sports world.
You can keep up with Rooks by following her on Twitter and Instagram.
