Toneata Morgan is the reigning Miss Oregon USA 2018 and will be taking the stage in the upcoming Miss USA pageant. The 22-year-old Coquille native succeeded 2017 winner Elizabeth Denny. Morgan is hoping to be the first Miss Oregon USA to finish in the Top 10 since 2004 when Jennifer Murphy, who was a contestant on season 4 of The Apprentice, made the cut. Morgan is set to graduate with a degree in Communications and a minor in Film and TV Studies.
She is currently a celebrity video host, actress, and model. Morgan also runs an online activewear store named All Legs Shoppe, which she founded, owns, and designs for.
If Morgan is able to come away with the Miss USA crown, she hopes to use her platform “to continue giving talks at middle schools to spread the word about the devastation wrought by cyberbullying.”
Miss USA takes place Monday, May 21 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date.
