Sarah Rose Summers is the reigning Miss Nebraska USA 2018 and added to her trophy case at the Miss USA 2018 pageant when she brought home the crown. The 23-year-old Omaha native succeeded 2017 winner Jasmine Fuelberth. Summers, who was Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2012, and went on to become the first Top 15 finisher from her state since Belinda Wright in 2010. She becomes the first-ever Miss Nebraska to claim the Miss USA crown.
Summers graduated cum laude from TCU with two degrees while also holding a part-time job as a Pilates instructor. She is also a certified Child Life Specialist. She is all about promoting a healthy lifestyle.

From her personal experience finding a balance, watching her mother lose 75 pounds, supporting multiple friends as they struggled with anorexia and orthorexia and learning about the eating disorder inpatient unit during her clinical rotations, she is passionate about working closely with NEDA this year and plans to continue doing so.

Miss USA takes place Monday, May 21 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date.
