Darrian Arch is the reigning Miss Indiana USA 2018 and will be taking the stage at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. The 23-year-old Chesterton native succeeded 2017 winner Brittany Winchester. Arch, who was Miss Indiana Teen USA 2013, will aim to be the state’s first Top 10 finalist since Brittany Mason in 2008. She graduated from Bethel College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is pursuing a career as an organ transplant surgeon.
She has long had a passion for medical science since a young age, according to her official Miss USA bio:
Darrian has had a love for medicine since she was young, spending countless hours at her father’s dental office dreaming of the day she would become a doctor herself. Darrian enjoys being a thrill seeker through her need for speed, and when she is not in the garage you can find her studying her favorite subject of human anatomy and physiology. She describes herself as bold, gregarious, and enterprising.
Arch is an advocate for the Indiana Donor Network and recently partnered with the organization.

Miss USA takes place Monday, May 21 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date.
