Luciana Andrade is one of the newest UFC Octagon girls, joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s ever-growing roster of ring girls back in November 2014 for UFC Fight Night 56: Shogun v. Saint Preuxat Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais. She joined fellow Brazilian octagon girls Jhenny Andrade and Camila Oliveira. She has been a mainstay ever since and continues to make regular appearances on behalf of the UFC.
The 31-year-old Andrade currently lives in Miami, but she is a native of Curitiba, Brazil. Before joining the UFC, she studied law and did some modeling. She worked in the judicial area for nine years before pursuing her modeling career.
Next up for Andrade is UFC 224: Nunes vs. Pennington in Rio de Janeiro. The main event is a woman’s bantamweight championship bout between current titleholder Amanda Nunes and challenger Raquel Pennington. The main card will kickoff on pay-per-view with a matchup between two Brazilian mixed martial arts legends, Vitor Belfort and Lyoto Machida.
Ahead of UFC 224 on Saturday night, Andrade will join Camila Oliveira, Jhenny Andrade, and UFC fighters Tecia Torres and Nina Ansaroff for autograph and photo opportunities in the UFC Fan Village outside of Jeunese Arena, the venue that will play host to the event. There will also be a Q&A hosted by Jessica Portasio with Ketlen Viera, Paulo Borrachinha, and Polyana Viana.
The first fight of the night kicks off at 7:15 p.m. local time.
