Yes, Iggy Azaela may be one of the worst rappers in the history of sound, but man oh man does she a Hall of Fame, Mount Rushmore-worthy Instagram game.
Amethyst Amelia Kelly, born June 7, 1990 and known professionally as Iggy Azalea, is an Australian rapper and model who moved to the United States at the age of sixteen to pursue a career in hip-hop. Azalea’s big break came due to the single “Fancy” with Charli XCX. It was released on February 17, 2014 by Def Jam Recordings and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Azalea’s debut studio album, “The New Classic”, was released in 2014 and peaked among the top five of several charts worldwide. However, despite her admittedly impressive peak, she’ll always be remembered for how truly poor of a rapper she is:
Despite her career tailspin, her Instagram remains as fire as ever, which is all the credit in the world to Iggy — she knows what the people want. She also doesn’t seem to have any sense of quit in her, as she has a new album called Surviving the Summer in 2018.
