New Mexico Library Shooting: Full Story & Must-See Details

A shooting has transpired at a library in Clovis, New Mexico. Two people have been killed and the gunman has been arrested. Police officers swarmed the library and apprehended the suspect, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to stop him from killing two people. At least six people have reportedly been shot.

The suspect has been identified as a 16-year-old male.

Ambulances have been dispatched of the shooting. One person has been rushed to the Clovis Municipal Airport for transport to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

“It all happened so fast,” said Vanessa Aguirre, a witness of the shooting. “We took off fast. My purse is still in there.”

Kim Tipton saw multiple police units arrive with rifles drawn a few minutes after 4 P.M. Kim watched on from a building across the street.

City officials are planning a briefing on the incident Monday evening.

Clovis is located 200 miles east of Albuquerque, near the Texas line. It is home to Cannon Air Force Base.
