Ronda Rousey Is Already Training To Become A WWE Professional Wrestler

Certified UFC bad-ass Ronda Rousey might just be in a transitional period from cage fighter to professional wrestler. A recent report from reports that both WWE and Rousey are on the same page regarding her return to the company.
Update (2018): The reports and rumors of Ronda Rousey returning to the WWE came true. She returned to the company at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view after the women’s rumble match. Rousey pointed up to the WrestleMania sign hanging high overhead in the arena. She had her official contract signing at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view a month later.
Rousey hasn’t appeared on WWE television since 2015. At WrestleMania 31, the prize fighter stepped into the squared circle for the first time. She shared the ring with WWE legends such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, and Stephanie McMahon. revealed a major rumor stating that Rousey has already reached out to the WWE regarding a career in pro wrestling. She reportedly linked up with former Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion Brian Kendrick, who will be showing her the ropes inside the squared circle. Triple H allegedly referred Rousey to Kendrick for basic in-ring training.
Ronda may be inching her way towards a role on either Raw or SmackDown was told Tuesday morning that Ronda Rousey has expressed interest in a pro wrestling run, and has went as far as to learn some of the basics from a WWE Superstar.
An employee backstage in WWE told us that Rousey spoke to Triple H to set up her appearance with fellow Four Horsewomen members at the Mae Young Classic. According to sources, WWE had referred Rousey and company to current superstar Brian Kendrick for training purposes in Southern California. You may remember that WWE had referred recently released Eva Marie to Kendrick as well.
There was also buzz backstage at the tournament — mainly among WWE employees and contractors — that Rousey’s training would start soon. She’s taken some basic bumps among other things thus far.

Rousey in the WWE sounds sick as f*ck. Imagine Ronda vs. Charlotte, Sasha, Bliss, the list just goes on and on for potential dream matches. Last week, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross told TMZ Ronda Rousey wrestling in a WWE ring is “inevitable.”

It’s just a matter of time before Ronda Rousey officially signs with Vince McMahon — so says WWE legend, Jim Ross, who says it’s a “match made in heaven.”
“Oh, she’s gonna be a big star,” the WWE Hall of Famer told us at LAX … “It’s inevitable. I see her in a WrestleMania someday.”

Good thing Amanda Nunes isn’t signed with WWE. That’s definitely a plus if you’re Rousey.
