Both of these accusations at the present moment can’t be backed up by fact because there hasn’t been a proper investigation into the matter nor have the accusing party themselves provided any proof except for the venom in their voice.

On Wednesday, the Department of Justice selected Robert Mueller to act as the special counsel for the impending investigation of Russia’s potential involvement in the 2016 Presidential election and any possible collusion between Trump and Putin.

Despite all this talk of collusion with Russia, Trump still held a meeting in the White House last week with Russian diplomats. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the Russian Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak spoke with Trump on Wednesday, May 10th. Lavrov has denied Russia’s alleged involvement in the 2016 US Presidential Election. Meanwhile, current and former US officials have accused Sergey Kislyak of being a spy and a recruiter of spies, something that Russian officials have denied. The President described this meeting as being “very, very good.”
